Is Datapult a part of APHL?
Datapult is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Association of Public Health Laboratories.
Is Datapult a non-profit organization?
Datapult is part of APHL which is a registered 501(c)(3). Datapult reinvests all revenue in the development of future capabilities.
Onboarding & technical support
Is there a Help Desk for customer support? If so, how do I contact them?
Yes, all customers have access to our Service Desk that they can use for post-live questions and support. You will be connected to our service desk during onboarding. If you need support now, please email us at info@datapult.aphl.org.
How long does implementation take?
Depending on the service that you are onboarding to, the process could take as little as 4 weeks. However, for more complex implementations, the timeline is longer. For an estimated timeline on your specific needs, please reach out to us by emailing info@datapult.aphl.org.
How secure is the platform?
We take security and privacy very seriously at Datapult and comply with HIPAA as a Business Associate for Covered Entities. Our platform is accredited by EHNAC and DirectTrust. EHNAC’s endorsement ensures that direct healthcare communications meet important standards for trust, security and privacy, both technically and legally.
Where is the platform hosted?
Our platform is hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) however, this does not limit our ability to integrate with other cloud solution providers like Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
