Access the NGS TB Pipeline
Prediction of drug resistance from pathogen-specific genetic markers can significantly impact public health and patient management. After years of development, a next-generation sequencing (NGS) analysis pipeline is available that provides the detection of high confidence drug-resistance associated mutations in Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) isolates. This pipeline was developed at the New York State Department of Health’s Wadsworth Center and has been deployed by Datapult, an APHL company, in an easy-to-use AIMS Platform environment.
This pipeline is now available to facilitate the implementation and validation of clinical whole genome sequencing (WGS) of MTB isolates in public health laboratories.
